Thursday, June 8th, 2006On the LIRR the other day I found a fiver under my seat, toward the rear of the third car (7:30 a.m. train coming in from Hicksville station — if it’s yours, let me know and I’ll get it back to you). Nice to get the day started like that.
Anyway, decided to share the wealth — pay-it-forward — and gave it to the conductor and asked her to pass it along to whomever else in the train that could use it. She looked at me weird, but then she smiled and went on her way. I hope that someone made use of it.
